Dr. Michelle Espinoza, DDS
Dr. Michelle Espinoza brings over 20 years of experience to the practice. She received her undergraduate degree from University of California at Riverside and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI. She continued with her education, completing a general practice residency at University Medical Center and the VA hospital in Fresno, CA.
Dr. Espinoza continues her education through the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Dr. John Kois Center of Dental Excellence. It is a priority for her to be knowledgeable about and proficient in the latest procedures and techniques so that she can give her patients the best care available. “It is my commitment to our patients to give beautiful and comfortable dentistry.” She not only enjoys gently caring for her patients but also developing strong long-term relationships. Dr. Espinoza’s commitment also includes volunteering in low-income areas including villages in Bolivia and Jamaica.
Michelle has been a lifelong runner and soccer player, and continues training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. These days you can find her spending fun time with her kiddos Kane and Brooke.
Armida — Front Office and Insurance Coordinator
Armida loves to interact with patients and has been in the dental field for almost 20 years. She served in the United States Navy for 7 years and soon after went to UEI’s Dental Assisting Program and graduated at the top of her class!
In addition to her dedication to her job, Armida loves cooking and fishing around our beautiful Mission Bay.
Tori Monforte — Dental Assistant
Tori Monforte graduated from the UEI College Dental Assistant program. Before dental school, Tori honorably served 4 years in the United States Coast Guard. She enjoys taking the time to get to know our patients and loves to make them laugh. Along with her coworkers, Tori strives to make out patients’ visits as comforting as possible.
In her free time, she enjoys sailing on her 41’ sailboat, hiking, paddle boarding, taking her dog to the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
Diana Luna — Dental Assistant
Diana is a native San Diegan graduating from Mission Bay High School. She earned her Dental Assistant certification at Concorde Career School several years ago. Diana’s favorite part of her job is “getting to know our patients”. When she is not in the office Diana and her mom enjoy putting large jigsaw puzzles together that they can work on for weeks! She also likes to take her pups on long beach walks on the sunny San Diego days.
Andrew Smith — Dental Assistant
Currently, Andrew is an undergraduate student studying Cellular and Molecular Biology at SDSU. After graduating he plans to attend Dental School in 2026. Andrew’s favorite aspect of working with our team is the “professional care” as well as the “astonishing” views! In his free time he enjoys surfing, soccer, and spending time with his family, friends, and especially his dog “Duke”.
